I saw Rahul Bose at a bookstore! On screen, he looks like a hunk, but in person, he's pretty OK! :-)

What's this sudden obsession with metrosexual males? None of the males I know are metrosexual! They don't even get their hair cut (or rather styled) at one of those upmarket saloons, so where does the question of moisturisers, waxed arms and facials come in?

My mood right now is like this- a helpless feeling of water, water everywhere and not a drop to drink.

War and Peace- finally caught this controversial documentary, in college! And met the film-maker Anand Patwardhan too!

He showed us a slightly shorter version, because he didn't want to subject us to the heat in the stuffy, over-crowded classroom. But it was worth it. The clippings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki were heart-wrenching. And of course it was anti-BJP, as well as anti-Congress (for the first nuclear tests). And the government wanted to give the film 21 censor cuts.

I was so fed up with the media coverage and over-over-hype on the stupid Lakme India Fashion Week (don't forget the Lakme, it's important), that I liked the cover story on fashion in Outlook last week!

I still haven't got rid of my cold and ear-block! :-(

Mumbai never comes to a standstill, except when something goes very very wrong. Or when a certain political party decides to declare it a bandh.

The city was very quiet today, even quieter than a Sunday. It didn't seem like Mumbai at all.

At the park, in the evening, in spite of the jostling crowds, there was quiet.
