A Jump One of those Nature episodes on Discovery Channel is enough to prove how animals are fiercely protective of their 'loved ones'. Ditto for us homo sapiens.
A brief encounter with one of those think-they-can-do-anything-and-get away-with-it types can leave you feeling empty and lost.
The week that began on a high note ended with a nadir of the worst kind. A fiercely possessive and protective gesture resulted in a sudden confrontation with oneself and an innate cross-examination of the heart and mind. The mind won. Hopefully, it will teach the heart a lesson or two before the next 'next time' comes.
But the peak of the week cannot be overshdowed by such a trivial ( yet significant) event, can it?
For once, I can say- my happiness antidote kicked out the miserability virus from my system.
