A Week Another week gone by, and I somehow scraped through. I'm a survivor! :-)
I managed to complete three-fourths of LOTR, Vol. 1. Sure, it may be a classic for most, but for me, a classic is a book you want to read again and again, or at least parts of it. Like I want to read Pride and Prejudice again, especially Darcy's letter to Elizabeth, and the final walk when he proposes to her.
And then I want to read Emma again, to see how she falls in love with Knightley, without even knowing it. And how her snobbery puts her in his bad books.
Do I want to read a book with hobbits and elves and dwarves running stealthily over hills and valleys? Maybe not. But maybe my mind will change some day.
Got a taskmaster as my new professor- a 10-book reading list and 500-word essays every week. Something my classmates and I are not used to. High time I hit the work button.
An school friend, M, is going away to Bangalore. But I don't think I will miss her too much. Probably because we are not as close as we used to be in the school days. Quite unfortunate, but as they say, move on.
